Generating your server token for your Factorio server

First, you will need to get a token. This is done on the factorio website:

 

  1. Create an account on - factorio.com
  2. Connect your Factorio account to Steam.
  3. From your factorio profile, copy the profile name and token

Next, you have to edit the servers settings to add your token:

 

  1. On your control panel, enter your configuration files
  2. Edit server-settings.json with Easy Editor option
  3. Enter your factorio username and the token under Credentials settings
  4. Save your changes and restart your server.
