Method 1 - Via Steam Favourites
- Open Steam and navigate to View > Servers in the top left header.
- Select to add your server to Favourites with your servers IP address and port.
- You should now see your server in the list, proceed to start up The Forest.
- Open the server browser in-game to select your Favourites list.
Method 2 - Via Direct Start
- Open Steam and navigate to Games > View Games Library.
- Right click on The Forest and select Properties.
- Select ‘Set Launch Options’ and enter your +connect IP address into the text field.
- Use +connect ?????? +password ‘password here’ depending on if your server is password protected.
- Confirm your changes and start up The Forest, your server should directly connect to the defined server.
