How to wipe your PixARK server

Wiping a PixARK server removes saved data so the server can start again. This can delete world, player, and tribe progress, so take a backup first if there is anything you may need later.

Use the Wipe Server tool

  1. Open your PixARK server in the control panel.
  2. Take a backup before removing any saved data.
  3. Stop the server.
  4. Click Wipe Server.
  5. Select only the data you want to remove.
  6. Confirm the wipe, then click Execute.
  7. Wait for the task to finish, then start the server again.

Manual wipe checks

If you are wiping files manually, stop the server first and work inside the server's saved-data folders only. Do not delete random folders from the server root. PixARK save layouts can vary between installs, so use the panel wipe tool unless you are certain which save folder belongs to the world you want to remove.

  • World data controls the map itself.
  • Player data controls individual player progress.
  • Tribe data controls tribe progress and ownership.

If you only want a fresh map, avoid deleting player or tribe data unless you also want that progress reset. A wipe cannot be undone without a working backup.
