FTP lets you upload, download, and edit PixARK server files from your computer. FileZilla is a common choice, but any FTP client that supports the connection details shown in the control panel should work.
Get the FTP details
- Log in to your game control panel and open the PixARK server.
- Find the FTP connection details listed with the server information.
- Copy the FTP host, port, username, and password exactly as shown.
Connect with FileZilla
- Open FileZilla.
- Paste the FTP host into the Host field.
- Enter the FTP username and password from the control panel.
- Enter the FTP port if the panel shows one separately.
- Click Quickconnect.
Transfer files safely
Stop the server before replacing configuration files or save data. Download a copy of any file before editing it, then upload the changed version and start the server again.
If the FTP login fails, re-copy the details from the panel and make sure there are no spaces before or after the username or password. If you still cannot connect, include the FTP error message in a support ticket.
