Install Arma 3 Workshop mods from the control panel, then make sure the server command line loads the mod folders. Client-side gameplay mods normally go in the -mod startup option so players can see and load them from the Arma 3 launcher.

  1. Open your Arma 3 server in the control panel.
  2. Click Steam Workshop.
  3. Search for the mod you want to install. The Workshop page should show mod cards with Install and More Information buttons.

  4. Install the Workshop item and wait for the task to complete.
  5. Click Commandline Manager.
  6. Check the selected command line and make sure the installed client mod folder is included in -mod.

  7. If you need a custom startup line for several mods, use How to create a custom command line for your Arma 3 server.
  8. Restart the server.

For server-only mods that players do not need to load, use the separate server-side mods article in this category.
