How to change your Minecraft Servers Icon

Changing your Minecraft server's icon is a straightforward process. Follow these steps on how to change the icon on your Minecraft server.

Create an Icon

  • Your server icon should be a square PNG image.
  • The recommended size is 64x64 pixels.

Save the Icon

  • Name the image file server-icon.png.
  • Make sure it's saved in the PNG format.

Upload the Icon

  • Place the server-icon.png file in the root directory of your Minecraft server.
  • You can use the File Manager on Multicraft to upload the file. Alternatively you can use Filezilla following our guide..

Restart the Server

  • Restart your Minecraft server to apply the new icon.
  • Once restarted, the new icon should appear when players view your server in the multiplayer menu.

Troubleshooting

  • If the icon doesn’t change, double-check the file name, format, and ensure it's placed in the correct directory.
  • Ensure there are no other server-icon.png files in the same directory that might override it.

That’s it! Your server should now display the new icon.
