How to edit the Configuration Files on your Palworld server

Accessing and Editing Configuration Files

Managing your Palworld server effectively means knowing how to handle configuration files. Our control panel makes this process straightforward, allowing you to customize your server settings with ease.

How to Access Configuration Files

  1. Find Configuration Files: After logging into the control panel, locate the 'Configuration Files' section. This is your starting point for all server customizations.

  2. Choose Your Editing Method:

    • Config Editor: For a simplified editing experience, use the 'Config Editor' next to the relevant file. This is recommended for those who prefer a more intuitive approach.
    • Text Editor: For direct file modification, especially for advanced configurations, select the 'Text Editor' option. This allows full access to the file's content for detailed adjustments.

Important File Locations

  • For Windows (Steam, SteamCMD): The path is Pal/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/PalWorldSettings.ini.
  • For Linux (SteamCMD): Find it at Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini.
  • Default Settings: Starting with DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini is a good practice for initial setups.

Customizing your Palworld server settings is key to providing an optimal gaming experience for your community. With our control panel, accessing and editing these settings is both efficient and user-friendly, ensuring your server runs just the way you want it to.
