If you’ve taken a manual or automatic backup of your Rising World Server, you can restore it at any time from the panel.
Step 1: Stop your server
Go to your game panel and click Stop to shut down the server before restoring a backup.
Step 2: Click Restore Server
On the left-hand menu, select Restore Server to view available backup files.

Step 3: Choose your backup
Select the backup file you'd like to restore from the dropdown list, then tick Are you sure to confirm.

Step 4: Click Execute
Click Execute to restore the backup. Once complete, you can start your server again.
Before restoring
Restoring a backup overwrites the current server files. If there is anything from the current state you may need later, create or download a fresh copy before starting the restore.
After restoring
Start the server and check the console for errors before inviting players back. If you restored because of a mod or configuration issue, confirm the server works before applying the same change again.
Restore checklist
- Confirm you have selected the backup taken before the problem started.
- Stop the server if the panel asks you to do so before restoring.
- Do not make more file or settings changes until the restore task has finished.
After the restore completes, start the server and watch the console while it loads. If the same issue returns, check any recent settings, mods, or file uploads before restoring the same backup again.
