Resetting player data removes a player's character progress from your 7 Days to Die world. This is useful if a player is stuck, has corrupted data, or you want them to start again without wiping the whole server.
Stop your server before changing save files. We also recommend taking a backup first, so you can restore the save if the wrong file is removed.
Finding the save folder
Open your 7 Days to Die server in the control panel, then click File Manager. Go to Data/AppData/Saves, then open the world folder and save name your server is using.
Open the world folder, then open the save name your server is using. For example:
Data/AppData/Saves/Navezgane/MyServer
Removing the player data
Look for the player data inside that save folder. The exact files can vary depending on the game version, but they are normally stored in the player data folder for that save.
If you only want to reset one player, remove the files for that player's SteamID64. If you want to reset everyone, remove the player data folder contents for that save.
Once done, start the server again. The affected player should join as a fresh character in that world.
If the player is not reset, check that you edited the correct world and save name. 7 Days to Die can have more than one save folder, especially if the server has been renamed or changed maps before.
