The MOTD is the message shown under your server name in the Minecraft multiplayer server list.

Edit server.properties

  1. Stop the server.
  2. Open Files in Ptero, then edit server.properties.
  3. Find motd= and enter the message you want players to see.
  4. Save the file, then start the server.

For example:

motd=A LogicServers Minecraft Server

Minecraft formatting codes can be used in the MOTD, but keep it short so it displays cleanly in the server list.
