Terraria commands are usually run from your server console or web console. If you are using TShock, use the TShock user and permission system instead, as TShock handles admins and permissions differently.

Useful vanilla Terraria server commands:

Show available commands:

help

Show who is connected:

playing

Send a server message:

say message

Replace message with what you want to say in-game.

Save the world:

save

Run this before restarting or stopping the server.

Kick a player:

kick playername

Ban a player:

ban playername

Change the in-game time:

dawn
noon
dusk
midnight

Save and shut the server down:

exit

There is also exit-nosave, but only use this if you are sure you do not want to keep recent world changes.
