Create a Satisfactory backup before updating, uploading saves, changing config files, or resetting the world. Backups give you a rollback point if the server fails to start or the wrong save is loaded.
- Open your Satisfactory server in the control panel.
- For the cleanest backup, stop the server first.
- Click Backup Server.
- Wait for the backup task to finish before making changes.
- Start the server again if you stopped it.
