The right RAM amount for a Dragonwilds server depends on player count, world activity, mods, and how long the server has been running between restarts.

Recommended starting points

These are starting points, not hard limits. If you are running mods, a busy community, or a long-running world, choose the higher end.

RAMSuggested use
4GBSmall private server with a few players.
6GBSmall to medium group with normal world activity.
8GBMedium server, more active players, or light mods.
12GB+Larger community, heavier mods, or longer uptime between restarts.

When to upgrade

  • The server starts running out of memory.
  • Players see lag after the world has been online for a while.
  • You are adding mods such as UE4SS-based mods.
  • Your player count has increased.

If you are not sure which plan fits your server, submit a support ticket and tell us your player count and whether you are using mods.
